There’s nothing more exciting that Friday nights, under the lights, supporting your hometown high school football team!

Week of 9/15/14
Montrell Moore from Champaign Central
Rushed for 213 yards and 2TDs…also had 2 interceptions on Defense to help the Maroons keep the “Wright Street Trophy” from rival Urbana.


Week of 9/8/14:
Unity QB Taylor White.  Taylor passed for 216 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Taylor also rushed for another 55 yards and 2 more touchdowns, helping Unity in their victory over Monmouth-Rossville by a final score of 42-16.

Week of 9/1/14:
Our Football Player of the Week is: Jimmy Fitzgerald from Centennial. Jimmy passed for 238 and 4 tds. Ran for 114 and 2 Tds. 

92.5 The Chief and La-Z-Boy Furniture Glleries present the 2014 “Football Player Of The Week” Award. We’ll be saluting a different high school football player each week, throughout the season.  Selections will be made each Monday following the Friday night match-ups and updated here. And each “Football Player Of The Week” will receive a special commemorative plaque to honor their performance on the field.
