So this has been going around

With our recent “Snowpocalypse” action here in Central Il, there’s been a lot of things floating around the internet showing the terrible conditions on the roads around here.  The picture up top there has been running rampant on on Facebook.  I just saw today someone post it with the caption “Off I-74 near Champaign”.  That picture is crazy.  It also didn’t happen off I-74 near Champaign.

Don’t get me wrong, the roads were crazy.  There were all kinds of cars off the road.  This wasn’t one of them.  This pic is from a video posted back in 2011 in New Hampshire.

Here’s the story of the crash from 2011 from The Huffington Post.

Cool image, it just didn’t happen during our “Snowmageddon”.

Stay safe monkeys.
