Capital Dark
Capital Dark

Matt and I have been on quite the dark beer kick lately, which explains why Capital Dark ended up in our possession this week. This is done in a traditional German Dunkel style, and it’s tasty. It pours dark, kind of like a flat soda in color. It has a bit of a bit up front, but has some sweet roasty overtones with hints of dark chocolate. There’s a hint of hops, but no lingering aftertaste. A bit watery in the mouth, but the carbonation makes up for it. This was a solid beer. I give it a 7.5 while Matt ups his rating to an even 8.0. If you’re looking to try a Dunkel, you can’t go to wrong with this one.
