On Tap is brought to you by Rosati’s Pizza, 701 S. Gregory, Urbana.  217-328-2334.

My buddy Ryan steps in to drink with us today.  Domaine DuPage is from Two Brothers Brewing and it’s a French Style Country Ale.  What does that mean?  Traditionally they are strong pale ales that are coppery or golden in color.  Domaine DuPage is just that.  Very coppery in color, with a sweet nose with hints of bread and malt.  The mouth feel is pretty smooth with a little carbonation feel.  It is sweet, but not too sweet.  And there’s definitely a malty, caramel flavor through out with that almost nutty, bready flavor.  For a sweeter beer, it’s surprisingly refreshing.

Shane thinks this is the perfect beer to have with a Jalepeno Cheddar Stuffed Burger from Rosati’s.  The heat would cut through and complement the sweetness of the beer.

Ryan and I both give this one an 8.5 while Shane gives it an 8.  All in all, a really good beer.
