On Tap is brought to you by Rosati’s Pizza, 701 S. Gregory Urbana.  328-2334.

This week it’s WYLD Extra Pale Ale from Uinta Brewing Company.

Ryan’s Rating: 4.5

My Rating: 5.5

Overview:  These guys put together a really nice little pale ale.  I know our ratings don’t look like it, but there’s is absolutely nothing wrong with this beer.  It just didn’t jump out at either one of us.  Neither one of us is really big into pale ales, so that may have affected our ratings.  This comes across crisp, with a decent aroma and decent flavor.  A little malty with some grapefruitiness and some hoppy aftertaste.  But all in all, like I said, nothing really stood out.

Food Pairing:  Since this is a solid beer, almost anything would go with it, but we think if you want to get the most out of it, try on one of Rosati’s Horse Shoes.  Texas toast, burger, fries, and cheese all together.  That’s something that will make you take notice.
